Conditions of Purchase
Moreno Travel Marketing Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Moreno Travel) acts as your agent in an agreement between you and Moreno Travel plus other suppliers who provide travel services. Moreno Travel does not own, manage, operate, or otherwise control any hotel, transportation vehicle, venue, nor other service, and is not responsible for their omissions.
Prices
The prices shown on our webpage are the most current available at the time of publication. Since the travel industry is dynamic and constantly in change, we may occasionally have a slight adjustment on costing due to changes at the supplier end regarding currency rates, fuel surcharges, etc.. We endeavor to give accurate pricing at the outset, but ask your understanding over items that we do not control. We will guarantee prices at the time of booking **
Deposit and Final Payment
Once we have confirmed your tour arrangements, a non-refundable deposit of $200 per person is due. The balance of payment is due 45 days prior to departure. If you are booking within 45 days of departure, then full payment is due at confirmation of services.
Changes/Revision
Changes to your booking once services have been confirmed will generate a $50 fee for each set of changes, plus additions to cost if applicable. Changes within 14 days of departure may generate a higher fee, depending on the change required.
Bookings including air tickets, or special services such as admissions to events.
These bookings will contain special deposit rules and cancellation conditions which will be explained to you at the time of booking.
Cancellations
Cancellation more than 45 days before departure will generate a refund, less $50 per person administrative fee, except for items with special conditions, such as air tickets.
Cancellations made between 45 and 21 days prior to departure will generate a 50% cancellation penalty. Cancellations made within 21 days of departure cause a 100% penalty, and no refund will apply. Any cancellation notices must be sent in writing to Moreno Travel.
Cancellation of Services by Moreno
Moreno Travel will have no responsibility beyond the refund of all monies received in the event of certain services being cancelled, or due to cancellation by the passenger solely because of a price increase greater than 7% (see below). The refund will be deemed to constitute full and final settlement.
Price Increases
All our advertised prices are calculated using fixed costs established at the time of publication. Prices can change from time to time due to increases in fuel costs, changes to the rate of currency exchange, and other factors. Should this occur, we reserve the right to increase our selling price. However, should the increase be greater than 7%, you have the right to cancel the agreement for services and be refunded the entire amount paid, unless the increase is due to an increase in Government-imposed taxes or fuel surcharges approved by the Canadian Transportation Agency.
Hotel Ratings
Moreno Travel does not assign nor control hotel star ratings, as these are assigned based on the national tourist authority criteria of each country visited.
Our Responsibility
Moreno Travel takes care in confirming arrangements with multiple suppliers of travel services, which together form the travel package you have purchased. Moreno acts solely as an agent, as these suppliers are independent companies over which we have no direct control. Therefore, Moreno shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays, or loss of enjoyment of any kind to you or your traveling companions or group resulting from the acts, omissions, or negligence of anyone other than us or our direct employees acting on our behalf.
Refund for unused services:
No refunds are provided for portions of a tour or service not used.
Notice to Travellers
Travellers should be aware that different living standards and practices exist outside of Canada, including but not limited to: provision of water, electricity, air conditioning, quality of food and water, cleanliness, food preparation, safety, provision of services, etc. Moreno Travel shall not be responsible for any loss stemming from differing living standards at the destination.
